Stay in Style, Comfort and Privacy

We are June and Eugene Duncan and this is our first bed and breakfast. We have had plenty of experience staying in B&B’s over the years so we believe we understand what works and what doesn’t so can apply this learning to our own business.
We know that comfortable beds will give our guests a good nights sleep and that plenty of hot water means you can relax, refresh or warm up  in a bath or under a shower. It’s also preferable to have flexible breakfast times to suit those who are here for a relaxing break or maybe work or perhaps one of the many events in the area.
New Hall is warm and welcoming, the rooms are large enough to relax in and there is absolutely no sense of being in someones spare room. There is also a large, comfortable guest lounge and we don’t have rules about when you can be here – feel welcome to come and go as you please. The decor is modern but homely and as time goes by we plan to bring a bit of ‘welshness’ back to New Hall by using welsh products, history and language.
Being new to the area we have done a lot of exploring for ourselves and can help you plan your stay in Llanwrtyd Wells. Be it walks or gardens or castles or pubs and restaurants we can advise.

New Hall itself is a converted church meeting hall on a quiet edge of town, within 5 minutes walk of the town centre but where nights are peaceful and undisturbed. We discovered New Hall in November 2007, followed all the  omens and were here by February 2008. We live amongst the beautiful hills of Mid Wales, we have become part of a warm and welcoming community where life is fun and varied and we meet such interesting, fascinating people from all walks of life. Come and stay and be surprised by the peace, beauty and friendliness of Mid Wales.
