FOOD AT NEW HALL – ENJOY A TASTE OF WALES
Our food philosophy is to provide, wherever possible, seasonal, locally sourced, organic food prepared to order on the day and tailored to your requirements. We also aim to use Fair Trade and environmentally friendly products. This approach enables us to offer the very best in local food whilst supporting the local economy and giving our guests a taste of Wales.
Some examples:
Sausage and bacon are provided by Cammarch Valley Butchers in Llanwrtyd Wells who make their own sausages from free range local pork and sell bacon reared and cured in Wales.
Eggs are free range and purchased from landowners in and around Llanwrtyd
Vegetables are largely purchased from local independant retailers.
Bread – homemade using a mix of organic flours including flour from Bacheldre Watermill
Porridge Oats – A mix of organic, jumbo and standard oats purchased from a local health food shop
Breakfast is served in our spacious dining room which adjoins a large and comfortable guest lounge. Seating arrangements are flexible and individual tables for 2 people can be joined together for larger numbers. The guest lounge has drink making facilities and provides a comfortable area for coffee / tea and a chat prior to breakfast, going out for the evening or on your return.
Breakfast is generally served between 8 and 9am but we are happy to serve earlier if required. If you need to leave very early we suggest a continental breakfast and a packed brunch sandwich to take with you. We can also provide packed lunches but would need prior notice.
We are happy for you to use the dining room for eating takeaways and on occasions we are able to provide evening meals. Please call for more information 01591 610265
For meals out Llanwrtyd Wells is very well served for eateries.

The pizzeria is ideal for later meals as it serves from 8.30. It is advisable to book all restaurants in advance
